Cookie Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancies, the Italian version prevails.
This Cookie Policy supplements the Privacy Policy of https://armivarie.it and describes the use of cookies and similar technologies, such as localStorage and sessionStorage, when browsing the website of Armivarie di Simoni Mirco, VAT no. 04454390289, email armivarie@gmail.com.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small pieces of data saved by the browser that can be read during visits to a website. Browsers also provide storage tools with similar functions, such as localStorage and sessionStorage. Some are necessary for the security or operation of the website; others may be used for analytics, external content or profiling.
2. Strictly necessary technologies used by the website
The website uses only the following first-party technologies, which are necessary for the features requested by the user. Consent is not required for these technologies.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
armivarie_session | First-party cookie (HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, Secure on HTTPS connections) | Authentication and protection of the admin area. It is set only when an authorised operator logs in to /admin; visitors of the public website do not receive it | 12 hours, or until logout |
armivarie_age_ok | localStorage (sessionStorage if local storage is not available) | Remembering the age confirmation, so that it is not requested on every page. It contains only the date of confirmation | 30 days |
armivarie_consent | localStorage | Remembering the choice regarding the Google map (enabled or refused) and the date of the choice | 12 months, or until changed under “Cookie preferences” |
The website language depends on the page address (Italian or English version) and is not stored. The website does not use cookies or tools for analytics, behavioural advertising, remarketing or profiling. Item views are counted on the server, without storing anything on the user's device (see Privacy Policy, section 2).
3. Optional tools and external content
Google map
The Home and Contact pages can show a Google Maps map. The embedded map is not loaded automatically: an information box with a “Load Google map” button is shown instead. If the user chooses to enable the map, the browser connects to Google's servers (google.com domain) and transmits technical data; Google may use cookies or other identifiers according to its own policies and settings, over which ARMIVARIE has no control. It is always possible to view the address, opening hours and contact details and to open directions in Google Maps through an ordinary link, without loading the map.
If the map is loaded with the “Remember my choice” option, or if “External content (Google Maps)” is enabled in the preferences, the map will load automatically on subsequent visits. The choice can be changed or withdrawn at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.

Fonts
The fonts (Inter and Barlow Condensed) are hosted directly on armivarie.it: displaying them does not involve connections to Google Fonts or other external services.
4. How to manage your choices
Since the only optional service is the Google map, which is loaded only on request, the website does not show a consent banner on entry: the choice is requested directly in the map box. The “Cookie preferences” panel, available from every page, allows you to enable or disable the “External content (Google Maps)” category, which is initially disabled, using the “Reject optional”, “Accept optional” and “Save preferences” buttons. Closing the panel without choosing leaves the map disabled. The choice is not requested again on every visit.
Your browser also allows you to view and delete cookies and local data. Deleting local data means that the age confirmation will be requested again; disabling cookies prevents access to the admin area.
5. Updates and contact
The list of tools used may change following technical updates or a change of hosting provider: this page shows the current version, and any changes requiring new consent will be handled before the relevant tools are enabled. For information: armivarie@gmail.com.
